During a Media Studies Lesson the other day, the entire class each presented in their groups presentations and a 20 word pitch explaining their chosen idea for they want to base their 2 minute Opening Sequence film task on worth 50%.
By listening to the ideas they were giving to us about their film, it would help us later on to develop on our own even more with better ideas. So far we have a solid foundation for what our 2 minute film is going to be about, however when we presented our idea to the class (which their impression of was very positive) they still suggested for us to tweak a few ideas to make our film even better. A blog post will be eventually uploaded of Alex and me pitching our idea to class.
Example of other groups with different ideas:
- A 90 minute film based on the main character narrating over the top of his life, contemplating death. This will be all filmed in Ottery st Mary looking over the River Otter where there are streetlights which will be useful as even at night there will be light from above.
- A young man wakes up to find out that he is late for an important interview and rushes out of the house very quickly. A psychological thriller focusing on a seemingly psychotic lead character whose face is never shown. A sinister opening scene in an abandoned factory followed by a long follow shot through the street.
