For our non-diegetic sound and backing music we were advised to use royalty-free music as this will mean we will not receive any copyright strikes from any companies who's music is being used. Which was why we used a very popular royalty-free music website to search for our soundtracks. NoCopyrightSounds is an organisation that releases music of a variety from different musicians.

I mentioned in my previous post the sound equipment we are using to shoot our film, which although may be very good, we would still need to take out any sound anomalies we could encounter during the editing process. Which is why we will be using the Audacity Sound Editing Programme. Audacity is a free open source digital audio editor and recording computer software application

To edit all of our footage, we have been using Adobe Premiere Pro throughout the whole course including for when we had to make our Preliminary Task and Copy Videos. We have been shown from the very beginning how to use this software from both Sion Roe who gave us the workshop and our teachers as well. However,

Alex and I booked out the drama studio for Period 5 and after school until 6:30 pm on Thursday 21st January and Thursday 4th February. We also will spend

Having Picked our genre of Action/Adventure for our Main Task, we now have to begin  gathering information on how our characters are going to act. We have already established that James McCullin is acting as the protagonist character in our film, we now have to be able to compare the characteristics of his character he plays as to a real movie

In preparation for our filming of our Opening Sequence, we have to cover and photograph all of the possible locations we can use in our film so that we know whether the locations are appropriate for our film as well as indicating what possible risks we could encounter when at these locations. Our 1st location shot is of

Now that the rest of our classmates had pitched their ideas to us for their Opening Sequence to their film, it was now time that Alex and I pitched our idea to the others who will also then give us feedback on our idea for what we could possibly change. Looking back at mine and Alex's Preliminary Task, it was evident that we both had to improve our storyboard for our film a lot more because we had no proper plan as to how we should structure our storyboard and the design of each panel. With this in mind, I decided to look through some past storyboards of

Having a brief idea as to what our film is going to be about before we start finalizing our story and presenting a pitch to the class, we now need to consider our Mise-en-Scene and how we are going to make this to be similar to how an Action/Adventure film should be filmed. On the 24th November 2015, an ex student from the Kings School Ottery St. Mary called Sion Roe (a professional photographer based in Exeter) came into our media lesson to help us and give us tips/tricks on how to improve our introductions/title sequences on our own films. He showed us how to create our very own film titles
